Aircraft Carrying US Defense Secretary Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet ferrying the US defense secretary was required to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.

"The aircraft touched down in accordance with established safety measures and everyone onboard, such as Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson commented in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to Brussels when the incident occurred.

This occurrence is not the initial instance that a US military aircraft carrying a top government figure has experienced mechanical issues.

In a previous incident this year, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to head back to the US capital after suffering a mechanical problem.
